Welcome to the website for Jaffna St. John's College Old Boys Association (OBA), Sydney, Australia. The Sydney OBA founded in 1988 is committed to providing a sense of belonging to its members living in the Greater Sydney area of New South Wales (NSW) and Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Sydney OBA is a part of a network of St John's Old Boys Association formed in Jaffna over 100 years ago. In March 2004, the school celebrated three Centenaries - Old boys Association; College Magazine; St. John's/Central Big Match. The event saw many loyal old boys flock to the school from around the world. The Sydney OBA website is dedicated to providing a means for the Old boys of Greater Sydney to stay connected with our Alma mater and old boys living in Sydney and living around the world. To continue the century old tradition, a sporting event - a cricket game with the Old Boys of Central College; and a social event for all the Old Boys to meet and enjoy an evening with their families and friends. The Sydney OBA continues to support the school and the staff in many ways to show our love, affection, gratitude and concern. There is more interest in the OBA than ever before.
